The second day of the conference will focus on scaling open science monitoring efforts at national, regional, and global levels. The day will begin with sessions from the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Track, highlighting national contributions and new tools to support open science monitoring. Following this, the focus will shift to the global landscape with discussions centered on the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science and its role in shaping global monitoring efforts. The day will conclude with a joint session featuring four EU sister projects: OPUS, PathOS, EOSC Track, and OSMI. This session will address misalignments in open science monitoring and policy across individual, institutional, national, regional, and global levels. It will aim to identify synergies that support the implementation and evaluation of open science strategies, reinforcing both the 2017 Recommendation on Science and Scientific Researchers and the 2021 UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science.
